I once ran my own school with a simple dream, to educate children and build something meaningful. For years, that school was my purpose. But when COVID hit, everything changed. The school couldn’t survive, and suddenly, I found myself unemployed, uncertain, and struggling to figure out what came next.

One day, while walking on the road, I saw an Upaya vehicle pass by. I still remember thinking to myself, “I wish I could work there someday.” That small moment stayed in my mind, and eventually, I gathered the courage to apply. Soon after, I became part of Upaya.

Just when life started moving forward again, my parents became seriously ill. Financially and emotionally, it was one of the hardest times of my life. But this time, I wasn’t fighting alone. My team at Upaya stood beside me when I needed support the most.

I may have lost the school I built, but I found a new path, a new family, and a new reason to keep going. Today, I stand proud as an Upaya associate, grateful for how far life has brought me, and hopeful for everything still ahead.
