Cost Control & MIS Analyst

Location: Upaya Head Office, Thapagau

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Control & MIS Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our logistics operations. This role is responsible for analyzing operational costs, monitoring business performance, preparing management reports, and strengthening internal controls to improve efficiency and financial performance. 

The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable working with large datasets to identify trends, optimize costs, and provide actionable management insights. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate operational cost drivers to identify cost optimization opportunities. 
• Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare reports for management review. 
• Develop and monitor operational performance dashboards, analyzing KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making 
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and performance dashboards. 
• Support the development and implementation of internal controls, SOPs, and reporting frameworks. 
• Collaborate with ERP and technology teams to improve data accuracy and reporting processes. 
• Ensure proper documentation to support operational reporting, compliance, and audit requirements. 
• Provide analytical support for operational planning, budgeting, and business decisions. 

Qualifications:

• Semi-Qualified CA or CA Qualified. 
• CA Nepal board preferred
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Experience with MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, or cost control. 
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage. 
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or fulfillment operations will be an added advantage.
